Anastasia – Eastern Grey Kangaroo

Another beautiful lady who has struggled for so long with a most horrendous injury to her tail was rescued by a WRSC volunteer and brought in tonight.
The world is just so cruel for our wildlife and what these gentle souls face is often so unfathomable. The suffering they experience and yet somehow manage to survive is sadly and at the same time, amazingly, remarkable. Her case is a difficult one, however she woke feeling a bit happier, now that she has food on tap!!
Meryl – Wombat

This poor little girl came to us in early June 2023 with a bad case of mange. She was looked after by a loving carer in Kangaroo Valley until she was transferred here to us. She is healing well and enjoying her milk and new temporary home.
